What an honor to be acknowledged at Ten Thousand Villages of Austin‘s Eighth Annual International Women’s Day Awards Ceremony! Sun Connor, our wonderful Office Administrator, nominated me. Since I was unable to attend the ceremony, she accepted the beautiful award, Humanitarian Runner Up, in my place. Thank you, Sun, and all our wonderful volunteers that make Women’s Storybook Project such a special program.
Thank you Ryn Cunningham and fiancé, Guy Hohmann for encouraging your wedding guests to give to WSP in lieu of gifts as you celebrate the beginning of your new life together. Ryn (a WSP volunteer) and Guy’s wedding will take place on April 16th. You can celebrate their big day too, by giving to WSP.
