What is WSP Book Club?

WSP Book Club is a group that aims to bring together individuals who are passionate about
learning about the lives and experiences of incarcerated mothers and women.

What types of books will we read?

We will read stories, memoirs, biographies on topics like :

Why this book club?

The objective of the book club is to spread awareness about these topics and influence positive actions for the betterment of incarcerated women.

Why should I join?

The book club offers an opportunity for individuals to interact with like-minded people who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of incarcerated women.

Who can join this book club?

The book club is open to anyone above the age of 18 and can be attended either in-person or virtually. We encourage you to invite your friends, family members, colleagues, and acquaintances to join!

How often does the book club meet?

The book club meets monthly.

When and where does the book club take place?

We meet on the first Tuesday of every month, between 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM Central. You are welcome to join us in-person or virtually.

What happens at book club?

During the meetings, members discuss the book, sharing what they have learned from it, their takeaways, and how they can try to make a difference in the lives of the incarcerated women and their families.
