There are many ways to get involved in Women’s Storybook Project of Texas.


Volunteer in a prison.

You will travel with a team of other volunteers to a prison facility to help with the recording of books. Commitment: two-three Saturdays per year. Read More.


Volunteer at a book event.

You and another volunteer will distribute brochures and answer questions about WSP to raise awareness about our program and encourage people to donate and/or get involved. Commitment: two-hour shift. Host an “Open Book Party”.

Partner with a friend to host a fun, casual, relaxed gathering of 20-30 friends or colleagues to raise awareness about WSP. A WSP representative will give a brief presentation, and our staff will help you every step of the way. Commitment: two-hour party, refreshments, pre-party planning and set-up, post-party clean-up.
