STAFF
Executive Director
Jill joined Women’s Storybook Project in September of 2018. She was strongly attracted to the mission of WSP because she believes in the power of a mother’s voice and the ability of a good book to help connect families.
Director of Operations
Operations Manager Sun has been with Women’s Storybook Project since 2013. She came on board as a part-time assistant to the founder and is knowledgeable in all things Storybook. She made the transition to Operations Management and oversees finance, Marketing/communications and IT.
Technology Coordinator
Tech Coordinator Ismael comes to WSP with over 30 years of experience in IT support and database management. While IT is his focus with WSP his previous experiences include working as a probation officer with the Juvenile court and as a case manager with Big Brothers Big Sisters. This gives him a unique perspective on the impact separation of parents from children can have. He hopes to add his IT skills in furthering WSP's mission to serve mom's and their children.
Development Manager
Tim Ball is the Development Manager at the Women’s Storybook Project of Texas, a role he has held since February 2024. With a nonprofit career spanning back to 1997, Tim brings nearly three decades of experience in supporting mission-driven organizations. His work has been both diverse and impactful, assisting nonprofits and churches in raising the critical funds necessary to sustain and expand their missions. Known for his universal approach to development, Tim is deeply committed to helping organizations connect with donors, build lasting relationships, and achieve long-term financial health in service of meaningful causes.
Programs Manager
Hadley is a licensed social worker with experience working in criminal justice and school settings. She is passionate about work that promotes family wellbeing and connection. Hadley was drawn to WSP because of their compassion and care for justice-involved families. She is eager to bring her skills to the WSP team and connect further with staff, volunteers, and mothers in the program!
Volunteer Manager
Volunteer Manager Rosa is the Volunteer Manager at the Women's Storybook Project. Drawing inspiration from creatives and activists alike, she is passionate about equipping the community with the support and resources needed to thrive. Rosa has a diverse background in early childhood education, homelessness services, and workforce development. She admires the way WSP fosters connection and and a love of reading.
