Helping Behind the Scenes

At Women’s Storybook Project, our work inside prisons is only possible because of the steady support we receive outside of them. Office volunteers help us with the everyday tasks that keep our program running and allow mothers to stay connected with their children through reading.

What Office Volunteers Do:

Each week, volunteers join us at the office to support a variety of important tasks, such as:

How It Works:

Once you sign up, we’ll reach out to schedule a short orientation. After that, you’re welcome to join us at the office during a time that works for you. Most volunteers come in for a two-hour shift, but we’re flexible with scheduling.

You don’t need any special training or approval to volunteer at the office.

Please note: Office volunteering is currently available only in Austin, at our main office: 5524 Bee Caves Rd, Austin, TX.

Have a Specific Skill?

If you have experience with marketing, social media, tech, or anything else you’d like to offer, please let us know. We’re always open to volunteers helping in ways that match their strengths.

Interested in Prison Volunteering?

If you’d like to accompany us on visits to the prisons, please fill out the form on the Prison Volunteering page. That process involves a separate orientation and clearance.

Certainly! Here’s the updated version of the Office Volunteer Sign-Up Form, with a revised question about preferred contact method:
