Kanika Kumar

Kanika Kumar

Programs Manager

Kanika is our newest team member. She volunteered with WSP for six months before joining us full-time in 2022 as a Program Manager. What resonated with her was the simplicity of the idea, of a mother reading to her child and the compounding impact it can have on the child, the mother, and their family.

Ismael Rangel Women's Storybook Project of Texas

Ismael Rangel

Technology Coordinator

Ismael comes to WSP with over 30 years of experience in IT support and database management. While IT is his focus with WSP his previous experiences include working as a probation officer with the Juvenile court and as a case manager with Big Brothers Big Sisters. This gives him a unique perspective on the impact separation of parents from children can have. He hopes to add his IT skills in furthering WSP's mission to serve mom's and their children.
