Jill joined Women’s Storybook Project in September of 2018. She was strongly attracted to the mission of WSP because she believes in the power of a mother’s voice and the ability of a good book to help connect families.

Sun Connor
Sun has been with Women’s Storybook Project since 2013. She came on board as a part-time assistant and is knowledgeable in all things Storybook. She made the transition to Operations Manager and oversees finance, communications and IT.
Kanika Kumar
Kanika is our newest team member. She volunteered with WSP for six months before joining us full-time in 2022 as a Program Manager. What resonated with her was the simplicity of the idea, of a mother reading to her child and the compounding impact it can have on the child, the mother, and their family.
Tim Ball
Ismael Rangel
Ismael comes to WSP with over 30 years of experience in IT support and database management. While IT is his focus with WSP his previous experiences include working as a probation officer with the Juvenile court and as a case manager with Big Brothers Big Sisters. This gives him a unique perspective on the impact separation of parents from children can have. He hopes to add his IT skills in furthering WSP's mission to serve mom's and their children.
Tiel Rainelli
Tiel volunteered with Story Book Project for over a year before joining the team in July 2024. She was drawn to the mission of WSP because of its emphasis on the mother-child bond and the commitment to serving women and the children of women who are incarcerated.
