Meet and Greet in Dallas: A Successful Start to Our Collin County Jail Sessions

Meet and Greet in Dallas: A Successful Start to Our Collin County Jail Sessions

We recently held a new volunteer meet and greet in Dallas, in anticipation of our upcoming visits to the Collin County Jail in McKinney. The event was a wonderful opportunity to connect with prospective volunteers and spread the word about our mission.

A big thank you to Mary Anne and Larry Harmon for graciously hosting this special event. Their hospitality created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made the afternoon truly enjoyable for all.

As we prepare to begin our sessions at the jail, we were thrilled to meet so many people who are eager to join our cause. The energy in the room was uplifting, with many new faces excited to sign up and make a difference in the lives of new mothers at the jail. It’s this kind of support that keeps us motivated as we continue to grow our outreach.

A highlight of the afternoon was hearing from Angelica Zaragoza, who graciously shared her personal story with the group. Her powerful words underscored the importance of our work and reinforced why we do what we do.

As we move forward with our plans to visit the Collin County Jail, we are filled with excitement and anticipation. We can’t wait to start this new chapter and make a positive impact on the lives of the new mothers we’ll meet.

For those reading, please help us spread the word about our organization in the DFW area. If you know someone who would be interested in volunteering or supporting our cause, please encourage them to get involved. Together, we can continue to make a difference!
