Lisa Holleran is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. Prior to her work in academia, Lisa worked directly with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault at the Williamson County Crisis Center. Lisa also has worked on public policy for the statewide domestic violence coalition, trained and certified probation officers for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and worked in management and fundraising for Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
Lisa earned her Ph.D. from Texas State University after 25 years of nonprofit work. While finishing her Ph.D, Lisa met Judith Dullnig. WSP needed a program evaluation, Lisa fell in love with the organization’smission, and a connection was made. Lisa has been an advisor for WSP and active with the organization since 2014. She joined the board of directors in May 2019.
