Penny Schmidt is a retired Senior Finance Director with Apple Inc. She managed the Americas Finance Shared Service Center for Apple in Austin. Penny received a Master’s Degree in Professional Accounting from UT McCombs School of Business and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1992. Penny served as Treasurer and Board Member of Ten Thousand Villages, a fair-trade retailer creating opportunities for artisans in developing countries, and Foundation for the Homeless, helping to alleviate homelessness for Austin families. Penny is a long-time member of Westlake United Methodist Church, having served on numerous committees. Penny joined the board in January 2020.
